Competition Rules

1. General Provisions

Miss Basarabia is an international prestige competition designed to promote modern feminine excellence, cultural identity, and personal integrity.

The competition is conducted in accordance with the principles of transparency, respect, and equal opportunity.

Participation implies full acceptance of the present rules.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To participate in Miss Basarabia, candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Age: 18 to 40 years at the time of application

• Geographic eligibility:
  Open to participants from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, and the European diaspora

• Legal capacity:
  Participants must be legally able to participate in international public events

• Personal standards:
  Good reputation, respectful conduct, and alignment with the values of the competition

3. Application and Selection

• Applications are submitted online via the official platform

• All provided information must be accurate and verifiable

• The organizing committee reserves the right to conduct interviews, video screenings, or additional evaluations

• Submission does not guarantee selection

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are expected to:

• Represent themselves and the competition with dignity and professionalism

• Respect other participants, jury members, organizers, and partners

• Comply with schedules, rules, and official instructions

• Maintain ethical behavior during all stages of the competition

Any form of misconduct, misinformation, or behavior damaging to the image of the competition may result in disqualification.

5. Image and Media Rights

By participating, candidates grant Miss Basarabia the right to use photos, videos, interviews, and related materials for promotional, editorial, and archival purposes without additional compensation.

Judging Criteria

Participants are evaluated by an independent jury according to the following criteria:

• Logical thinking and articulation of ideas

• Understanding and representation of personal and cultural identity

• Authenticity and coherence of self-presentation

4. Appearance & Aesthetic Harmony

• Overall elegance and personal style

• Grooming, taste, and balance

• Harmony between external appearance and inner presence

(Physical perfection is not a determining factor; individuality and authenticity are prioritized.)

5. Confidence & Personal Integrity

• Emotional stability and self-awareness

• Ethical conduct and responsibility

6. Overall Impression

• Holistic evaluation of the participant

Final Provisions

The jury’s decision is final and not subject to appeal.

The organizing committee reserves the right to update or clarify rules when necessary, ensuring transparency and fairness.
